For the past eight years, I've had the privilege of helping buyers and sellers throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area. While real estate is what brought us together, I've learned that this business is rarely just about houses. It's about growing families, new beginnings, unexpected opportunities, and sometimes closing one chapter so another can begin.

My goal is simple: to make the buying and selling process as smooth, informed, and enjoyable as possible while building relationships that last long after closing day.

Why Home Matters

I believe that where we live shapes so many parts of our lives. Home is where families gather, milestones are celebrated, and some of life's best memories are made.

That's why I approach every transaction with the same care, attention, and dedication I would want for my own family. Buying or selling a home is a big decision, and I take seriously the trust my clients place in me during that process.

Beyond the Closing Table

When I'm not helping clients buy and sell homes, you'll usually find me spending time with my boyfriend Chris and our dog Ryder, exploring local restaurants and breweries, attending community events, or escaping to our family cabin, Oasis on 8.

I've never been very good at sitting still, and there's usually a project underway. Whether it's refinishing furniture, decorating a space, tackling a DIY project, or improving a property, I enjoy transforming spaces and bringing new life to them.

That passion naturally extends into real estate. I have a particular interest in investment properties, renovations, and short-term rentals, and I enjoy helping clients see the potential in a property. Real estate isn't always about finding the perfect home—sometimes it's about creating it.

As Chris and I continue to grow our own short-term rental and investment ventures, I've gained firsthand experience with both the opportunities and challenges that come with owning and managing investment properties.

At the end of the day, I love creating spaces where people can gather, make memories, and feel at home—and that's one of the many reasons I love what I do.

“We recently had the pleasure of working with Elissa Moore to sell one of our homes. This house sale was years in the making because it was a rental at one time and needed refreshed and updated. Prior to putting it on the market, she had one of her countless contacts take a walk thru and advise us if there were issues that would need to be fixed. The main issue was a sagging front porch roof. Since it was half of a duplex, this would involve the owner of the other half. They were not selling their half, so they were in no hurry to bring their property into compliance. One of the owners could not have been nastier to work with but somehow Elissa, with her ever professional and positive attitude, worked her magic and got her on board to get the porch roof rebuilt. Because of the work needed on that porch, we did not get it on the market until the July 4th weekend - right in the middle of peak vacation time. That did not discourage Elissa - she staged it, distributed informational flyers for the open house, worked her magic again and had a young couple ready to buy in in 2 weeks. Prior to closing, she discovered that we had a number of deed issues that took several attorneys, their staff and a number of employees at the Recorder of Deeds office to resolve. Through it all, Elissa never gave up on us. The closing date had to be pushed several times to resolve the deed problems but she worked with the buyers and we all waited until it was done. Her contacts got the legal stuff done but Elissa singlehandedly kept the buyers on board and the sellers (my husband and I) calmed down. I cannot say enough about her work ethic, professionalism and upbeat, positive attitude. Selling this house was one obstacle after another that I am convinced your average realtor would not have gone the extra distance time after time to get it done. Rest assured - she is NOT your average realtor. Sign her up because she'll get it done!!!”
